SPM marked its logistical achievement as the clearance and handling team welcomes the arrival of Deraya Air’s Boeing 737300F in Jayapura, Papua. After going through the required formalities and complex documentation, SPM team successfully ensured the aircraft arrived as planned as it docked in Sentani airport.
The Boeing aircraft flew from the USA and has a capacity to carry up to 15 tonnes per flight. Deraya Air hopes to make use of the aircraft to serve cargo shipments to and from Wamena and Dekai district, Papua. Papua province in Indonesia is located in the far-east of Indonesian archipelago with districts that mostly could only be reached via air transport.
